Ο συνιδρυτής της Apple Steve Wozniak σε συνέντευξη του χαρακτήρισε το Windows Phone, πολύ πιο όμορφο, λειτουργικό και εύχρηστο από το Android, τονίζοντας πως το τελευταίο δεν μπορεί να συγκριθεί με το WP, ενώ όταν αναφέρθηκε στην τελευταία του συσκευή, ένα Nokia Lumia 900, είπε πως το iOS είναι πιο "αδέξιο" στην αλληλεπίδραση με τον χρήστη.
Σαν το μόνο μείον ως τώρα της πλατφόρμας του Windows Phone ανέφερε τον μικρό διαθέσιμο αριθμό εφαρμογών ενώ έφτασε στο σημείο να εκτιμήσει πως θέτει το στάνταρ σε ότι αφορά το user interface.
I did give my opinion that the Windows Phone had superior visual appearance and operation cues that were also more attractive. In my opinion, it sets the mark for user interface. I would recommend it over my Android phones given that it doesn’t yet have the breadth of apps.
I surmise that Microsoft hired someone from Apple and put money into having a role in the UI and appearance of some key apps. I also surmised that Steve Jobs might have been reincarnated at MS due to a lot of what I see and feel with this phone making me think of a lot of great Apple things.
